Suri Peak Alpaca Farm specializes in colored, award winning suri alpacas. Our goal is to improve upon the quality of the North American suri through selective and restricted breeding practices. “Quality and Color at its Peak” is more than just a slogan; it’s the way we run our ranch.

We scoured the entire country – quite literally – to select our initial herd. We hand selected only the best alpacas, from the best farms, large and small, including:

In this way, we began with a genetically diverse population of the country’s finest animals. We do not limit ourselves to full Peruvian, Accoyo, or full Bolivian. Our goal is to produce quality award winning suris, with genetic vigor and vitality. Each generation is expected to be an improvement on the one before it. And the proof has already shown itself with the quality of our cria.

So, if you don’t succeed, we don’t succeed, either. You have our sincere pledge to provide you with unlimited assistance as you begin (or continue) building your herd. The ranch you buy from is as important as the animals you buy. You can count on Suri Peak Alpacas to provide individual attention and care for your concerns. Even though some of our alpacas are listed as foundation stock, we are always willing to discuss selling any alpacas here at the ranch.

Discounts are available on multiple purchases, as well as multiple breedings. Just give us a call to discuss putting together a package that works for your needs.

Buy With Confidence
Once you make the decision to purchase an animal from us, you can do so with confidence. If you cannot visit us in person to see the alpacas for yourself, we will send you photos, videos and fleece samples to help in making your selection “sight unseen.” Our additional services will further assure you that you purchased from the right farm.

Free Transport
When you purchase an alpaca from Suri Peak, he or she will be transported to your farm or ranch on our dime. Limited to the 48 lower states.

Financing
We will finance your purchase for one year, interest free. If longer terms are needed, we are open to discussing special financing plans to meet your needs.

Breeding and Agisting
We have several award-winning herdsires to choose from for a free rebreeding with females purchased from Suri Peak Alpacas. Breeding includes 60 days of free board for the female and cria at side. If agisting is needed for your new purchase, we offer up to 6 months free agisting to new owners.

Your alpacas will receive excellent care when at Suri Peak Alpaca Ranch for breeding or for longer term boarding. Our ranch is located at 8400 feet just at the base of the continental divide. Our summer days rarely reach 90 degrees and there is plenty of high altitude sunshine for the alpacas to enjoy. Beth manages the alpacas full time and is at the barn throughout the day. Our pastures and barn are surrounded by 5 foot no climb fence that has a top rail and bottom tension wire for extra strength and integrity. Your alpacas will receive the same excellent nutrition as ours. We feed Dr. Evans supplement and minerals and grass hay that is always analyzed and targeted to be 12-14% protein. During the summer months, the alpacas enjoy grazing on our irrigated pastures that were seeded specifically for alpacas with an endophyte-free mix of orchard, brome and rye grass seed. Our vet is mobile and can be on-site usually within 20 minutes.

Our barn is set up with automatic heated waterers, a heated nursery room, and a heated vet room with a small laboratory enabling us to run IgG's and fecal exams on site. There are covered "porch" areas off both sides of the barn for the alpacas to lounge during the day.

We clean the barn and surrounding paddocks 2-3 times daily.

We have fleece available for purchase in a wide variety of colors, as well as award winning show fleeces. Call us for pricing.
