A full Peruvian, 3/4 Accoyo, proven mom, out of the Uribe/Durazno line, Magnificent(aka Maggie)is a tall, stretchy suri with good bone substance. She has a very typey suri head and fleece that is incredibly lustrous with tightly twisted locks throughout her blanket and down her neck. Her lock quality is evident from the locks of her top knott right down to the wonderful locky fleece coverage on her legs. Magnificent is by no doubt one of my best production females. It would be difficult to replace such a female that has proven what quality offspring she can produce. Magnificent will continue to be foundation stock at Suri Peaks.
Magnificent has given us 6 offspring now. They have all inherited her beautiful bearded suri head and quality fleece characteristics. Equally important, they have inherited Maggie's easy going personality.
Her 4th cria, Torbio's Magdalena, is 7/8 Accoyo out of the well known herdsire Torbio. At 4 months old Magdalena is displaying the same beautiful fleece and typey suri head as her full brother, Accoyo Orbit. Maggie's 2007 cria, SPAR's Sun Flower, is a another beauty and has all ready been sold at 3 1/2 months old.
This year, 2008, Maggie produced her first colored cria, SPAR's Magic Man out of MacLuster. Now, I know that not only can Magnificent produce exceptional crias for me, They can be colored too!

Senatt is one of the sweetest imports you will ever find. She is a great mom with her easy going disposition and produces plenty of milk for her crias.. She is a tall, stately gal with good bone substance. Her fleece is very fine with a wonderful handle and exhibits good locking also. Senatt's coverage is exceptional with fleece right down to her toes on both her front and rear legs.
Senatt has produced only colored suris when bred to color. To date she has produced 2 Color Champion offspring for me. See SPAR's Cinnamon Swirl and SPAR's Buster Brown.
Senatt is also an easy breeder and has been confirmed pregnant after only one breeding everytime we have rebred her.
The matriarch of the herd here at Suri Peaks, Senatt has earned her right to stay at the ranch as an honored foundation female.

Her grandsire is Ameripaca's well known herdsire Harry Brown. Fedora has a perfect bite and flawless conformation.

A 3 time Champion herself, Fedora is now bred to our 2 time Champion herdsire and Macgyver son, MacLuster. Together they should produce a top quality cria destined for the show ring. Check out SPAR's She's Something Else.

A full Peruvian and two-thirds Accoyo female, with beautiful pencil locks and a great typey head! And, she throws color. From the Uribe/Durazno line, Cotton Blossom exhibits tremendous style, full coverage and good stretch. She's a proven female, and early breeder (like her dam), a trait which is very heritable.
Her first two crias have both been female, and both colored.

She has a mellow disposition - Cotton is truly huggable!
Cotton had a beautiful male cria in October 2006 out of Snowmass Silken Gold.
As with all her offspring, Sir Silken has Cotton's beautiful Suri head. He's got locks and luster to go with it and should be a show winner.
Cotton's 2008 cria is Suri Peak's Jobe. He is light fawn out of Coal Man. What a beautiful head this guy has! And as with all of Cotton's crias, the luster and locks to go with it.

Sire:   Pachamama's MacLuster
Dam:   Cotton Blossom
DOB:   October 21, 2004
ARI:   1242973   ARI Registration
Color:  Medium brown
Breeding Status:  Service Sire: SPAR's Dynamite - Due May 14, 2010

Carmel Cotton arrived dripping with LUSTER and her LUSTER just seems to get better with time. Her fleece has a nice fineness, and her locks are tight and to the skin with a nice twist at the ends. Carmel inherited her very typey, bearded suri head from both her dam and her sire who have beautiful suri heads. Carmel is a tall and big boned gal with a flawless conformation and bite.

Carmel Cotton is 1/2 accoyo and is out of one of our best foundation females. A Macgyver grandaughter, she is a combination of some of the best accoyo bloodlines in this country: Bruxo, Durazno, and Accoyo Caesar. Carmel Cotton is the type of alpaca we are striving for in our breeding program. She began her show career at the young age of 6 1/2 months taking a blue ribbon and Reserve Color Championship. The judges have referred to her as the "complete package" more than once now.

Carmel's first cria out of Suri Peak's Coal Man is SPAR's Ni-Coal, a gorgeous true black female. We could not be happier with her arrival. She's a show girl and to date has won 3 championships.
Carmel's 2008 cria is SPAR's Natalie Coal, a beautiful dark brown female with black points. She is a full sister to SPAR's Ni-Coal, our 2008 Futurity Color Champion.
Carmel has done it again! Her 2009 cria is a true black female who we have named SPAR's Coal Man's Poppy Seed. She's a beauty!

LUSTER, LUSTER, LUSTER!!! This girl is so lustrous that she shines even when she is inside the barn in low lighting. It was mostly for her luster that I added Maxi to the foundation herd, but she surely has all the other qualities of a good suri female - beautiful locking throughout her blanket, perfect conformation and an excellent bite. An easy gal to work with, Maxi proved to be an excellent mom when she had her first cria March 2005.

Maxi had an impressive show career, winning 2 Chamoionships and 2 blue ribbons. Maxi's first offspring, SPAR's Dynamite, has followed in his dam's foot steps winning a Color Championship at GWAS 2006 in Denver, a first place at Fall Fest 2006, and 2 second place ribbons at AOBA Nationals 2006 and MOPACA 2006. Dynamite's fleece won the judge's choice Color Champion, best lock and best hand at the Estes Wool Market 2006. At the Suri Symposium, the largest ever Suri fleece with 384 suri fleeces, Dynamite's fleece won 3rd place.
Dynamite will be one of the top herdsires at Suri Peaks and is proudly co-owned with Akuna Matada Alpacas.

Maxi had her 2nd cria, MacLuster's Maxine - a beautiful light fawn female, sired by our herdsire MacLuster. Wow, does she have the luster of both her dam and sire! I was so impressed with the results of this breeding, that I rebred Maxi to MacLuster for a repeat performance next year - spring 2007.
Check out Maxine's full sister, Spar's Spirit of Madriene. Maddy won 1st and Color Champion at her very first show!

Maxi's 2008 cria is SPAR's Light of Dawn, a lustrous light fawn female that is our first cria out of Accoyo Orbit. She's a beauty!

Magdalena is a FULL PERUVIAN, 7/8 ACCOYO, Torbio daughter. On her dam's side she has Uribe and 4Peruvian Miguel as grandparents, giving her a nice combination of accoyo genetics. Magdalena is another example of the quality offspring Magnificent (her dam) produces for us at Suri Peaks. Magnificent consistently stamps her crias with beautiful bearded suri heads. Magdalena's sire, Torbio, is also known for producing crias with typey suri heads. Magdalena has inherited this beautiful typey suri head just like her full brother Accoyo Orbit. She also has lustrous fleece with a very nice lock style just like her Color Champion brother, Orbit.
Magdalena is a tall and big boned female. At 4 1/2 months old she weighed 83 pounds. Conformationaly, Magdalena is excellent, and she has a perfect bite. She is a sweet girl to work with, just like her dam. With a natural show presence about her, I expect her to do well on the show circuit in 2007.

Magdalena had her first cria, a beautiful beige female. We have named her SPAR's MacLuster's Ginger Mist. Magdalena is being rebred to MacLuster for a Fall 2009 cria.

Color:  fancy - black, brown and white
Breeding Status:  Service Sire: Suri Peak's Coal Man - due April 5, 2010

Marbelita is a real head-turner; everyone who visits picks her out of the herd right away. She has gorgeous fancy markings, plus drapey, swingy locks that shimmer in the sunlight.
Marbelita has proven herself to be a great mom. She has had no birthing issues, is a good milk producer and is very attentive to her crias. Marbelita also breeds back easily, usually on the first breeding.
Marbelita gave birth to her spittin' image, Marbel. Marbel has won a 1st place and 2nd place ribbon so far. Her second cria, Glitterbug, has won 2 Color Championships. One was at the very competitive AOBA Nationals in Salt lake City 2005.

Marbelita just had a beautiful TRUE BLACK male cria, SPAR's Bongo Billy, out of Suri Peak's Coal Man this November 2006. He has beautiful luster and locking and is definitely a show quality boy. Marbelita will be rebred to Coal Man for, hopefully, a repeat performance. A true black female in 2007 would be nice!

We got our wish on 12/29/07 when Marbelita delivered a beautiful true black female, SPAR's Ni-Coal-ette.
With results like this, Marbelita will be rebred to Coal Man for spring '09 cria.

Ribbons:  Marbelita was shown only once, and took second place (to a male in a mixed class) at The Big E 2000.

A product of a 3 TIME CHAMPION DAM and a 2 TIME CHAMPION SIRE, SPAR's She's Something Else is just what her name says - something else. Fondly known as Elsie, this gal has awesome luster along with all the other attributes of a fine Suri. No wonder when you consider her bloodlines. Her grandsire is the all time champion, Macgyver on her sire's side, and on her dam's side her grandsire is Fine Threads Jax. Elsie herself is now a 4 time champion, winning her most recent Color Championship at the 2009 Great Western Alpaca Show in Denver. A level 5 show, GWAS was the largest show in the country for 2009. Her great grandsire is the well known Magnifico. No doubt, this little gal has the grey genetics to produce grey. With her excellent luster, wonderful fineness to her fleece and good lock structure, she will produce grey with exceptional fleece quality. She has inherited one blue eye, a trait that can show up when breeding grey alpacas, and probably is indicative of her being even more capable of producing grey offspring. Brownie has excellent conformation with a presence about her that turns heads as she struts about the pasture. Her bite is perfect. I feel she is a little gem just waiting to reveal her grey genetics in her offspring.

Rolo has powerful genetics and at the young age of 8 months has already won 2 blue ribbons and a Reserve Championship.

Locks-A-Rolo is co-owned with Hansen Pass Alpacas.

What a surprise the color of this young man was! His dam has never produced color, even when bred to color. She has had 5 white crias prior to Magic Man. May be MacLuster did work some "magic" on Magnificent to produce a light brown cria. Whatever, I am pleased with the outcome and Magnificent will be rebred to MacLuster for a 2009 cria. Magic Man is showing beautiful luster with a fine fleece that has good lock definition.
MacLuster and Magnificent both stamp their crias with beautiful suri heads, and Magic Man looks as though he will have one of the nicest yet. Magic Man is 3/4 Peruvian and 1/2 Accoyo, and has impressive bloodlines in his background - Bruxo, MacGyver, Miquel and Uribe.
He is definitely a show quality boy.

Wow! I was excited when this boy arrived! Zakar is a Full Peruvian son of the well known herdsire, Gunsmoke. His genetics are not only excellent on his sire's side with Condor as his grandsire, but on his dam's side he has Magnifico as his great grandsire. The combination of these wonderful genetics can be seen in Zakar. He has GREY that runs 3 GENERATIONS deep on his dam's side, and 2 GENERATIONS deep on his sire's side. Zakar is very lustrous, and has good lock structure as well. Zak is dark brown with grey on his top knot and down his neck. I believe he has strong potential to produce grey offspring. He is a straight, correct male with a perfect bite. Zak's birth weight was 20.2 pounds, even though he was born 2 days before the 11 month due date. He is a healthy and vigorous young male.

He is a grandson of the late Accoyo Jackpot on his dam's side and a grandson of the late Peruvian Uribe on his sire's side. Further back he has Torbio, Ricardo and Peruvian Aureo. Combine genetics like these and you almost can't go wrong. Caesar has carried forth a lot of good traits from his heritage. His fleece is extremely dense with beautiful luster and lock definition. Caesar's fleece statistics are impressive with a micron of 18.6, SD of 3.5, CV of 18.8 and comfort factor of 98.9 %. Conformationally, Caesar is excellent with good bone density. His bite is perfect and I love his gentle personality.

Cotton Blossom has done it again giving me an awesome high quality cria. It's no wonder I continue to keep Cotton as a foundation female. Suri Peak's Jobe has it all! He is lustrous with beautiful uniform locking from head to toe. Check out the locks on his top knot and cheeks. Jobe's fleece is fine and very uniform. Check out his histogram: AFD 18.2, SD 4.0, CV 22.0% and 99.1% comfort factor. I look for Jobe to produce color with excellent fleece quality.
He also has one of the most beautiful and typey suri heads I have ever seen.
Jobe has excellent conformation and a perfect bite. He has great substance of bone and is a big cria weighing 70 pounds at just under 3 months of age.
Jobe is beige in color, but with his sire being Suri Peak's Coal Man, his potential to produce dark offspring should be quite high. Bred to color, Jobe could produce some awesome results.

This pinto gal is very showy. Her fleece exhibits hues of charcoal gray which continue to develop with her increasing age. This can be attributed to her sire, a fancy with grey in his color pattern. Stormie's fleece shows excellent independence of lock and is lustrous for a deeply colored alpaca. Her fleece is extremely soft with a wonderful handle. She has a very sweet disposition just like her dam who is one of the sweetest imports we have ever encountered. Stormie is a good sized girl; her weaning weight at 6 months of age was 85 pounds.
Stormie is a phenotypically very suri and has proven herself as a quality suri by her show record. Soon, Stormie will be bred to Suri Peak's Coal Man, our Full Peruvian, true black herdsire. We expect a deeply colored black or grey cria from this pairing - guaranteed to be suri!

Breeding Status:  Service Sire: Coal Man - March 13, 2009

A true black female with exceptional luster. Her luster was the primary reason I chose her to be part of my foundation herd. Susie has good locking that is consistent throughout her fleece. Her personality is very mellow making her an easy girl to work with.
Susie has deep color on both her dam and sire's side. She is out of a true black dam and a dark brown sire.

Susie also had an impressive show career winning 2 blue ribbons and a color championship.

On January 21, 2006 Susie gave birth to her first cria, a beautiful true black female. We named her Blessing in Black.
Susie's second cria was another true black female, SPAR's Coal-lette.

Dec. 2007 - Susie did it again! Gave birth to her THIRD TRUE BLACK FEMALE, SPAR's Coal-leen. Susie has had 3 crias now, all true black and all females.
With results like these, we have decided to breed Susie back to Coal Man again this spring.
If you are a breeder looking to produce black, Susie would be a wonderful addition to your herd.

One special alpaca this little girl is! She is named in honor of my Dad who left this earth just 2 weeks before she was born. My Dad has been very supportive of my venture into alpacas from the beginning. Once he asked me what would be the best color alpaca to have? I said "grey is the rarest, Dad, I would take grey". Well, I think he heard me. Gene's Girl, who I have nick named GG, is a beautiful dark silver grey alpaca. She has beautiful luster for a grey alpaca and tight little locks to go with it. GG is very straight and correct in her conformation with a perfect bite. And her personality - well, she's sweeter than sweet, how could she not be. Gene's Girl is a tribute to my Dad, a man who was so loving and kind, always looking to give expecting nothing in return. I miss you dad, thank you for putting in a good word for me and GG's arrival. We will do our best in the show ring to make you proud.

He looks great shorn!
There are no faults to be found with Orbit's perfect conformation and bite either. Orbit's head is one of the most TYPEY SURI HEADs I have ever seen. Orbit is out of the well known Durazno/Uribe line on his dam's side and has Torbio as his sire. With these genetics in her background, Desert Rose has a strong probability of producing grey offspring, especially if she is bred to grey. Desi was born with a rose grey top knot, a white face and light taupey colored legs - markings indicative of a grey alpaca. Ni-Coal started her show career just as her dam did winning a 1st and Reserve Championship at the young age of 6 1/2 months old. I look for Ni-Coal to continue to do well in the 2008 show season. She is the type of Suri I strive for in my breeding program.
Ni-Coal has some impressive bloodlines on her dam's side : Macgyver, Uribe, NGG Caezar, and 4Peruvian Miguel. Combining these genetics with Suri Peak's Coal Man's genetics have given me the results I was hoping for - A true black Suri with excellent luster and fleece qualities. Her fleece has a slick shiny appearance with superb lock definition that is uniform. Ni-Coal has one of the nicest Suri heads you will find. She has inherited this trait from her dam and sire who both have beautiful typey heads. Ni-Coal also has the pleasing sweet personality of her dam and sire, and she is truly a joy to work with.
At 7 1/2 months old, Ni-Coal weighs 95 pounds and is a tall girl with good bone density. Like her dam, I look for her to be a good size female that will mature early.

Bongo Billy displays all the attributes of his sire, Suri Peaks Coal Man. He is absolutely "coal black" and very lustrous. His fleece definitely has that greasy look and feel to it that we suri breeders strive toward achieving in our breeding programs. Bongo's locking is tight with his locks going right to the skin. I have never seen such good lock formation on a black alpaca before. Conformationally, he is flawless, and also has a perfect bite. Bongo has his sire's nice head, too - fleecy cheeks with a short muzzle, and that desirable suri beard starting to appear.
Bongo Billy's dam, Black Magic's Marbelita was a show winner, and has also produced show winning offspring. SPAR's Glitterbug, one of her female offspring has 2 color championships to her credit. SPAR's Aspenglow and Suri Peak's Marbel, two of Marbelita's sons, are both blue ribbon winners. Bongo Billy has everything it takes to be a show ribbon winner. Like an early snow in Autumn, she has a couple of splashes of fawn in her white blanket. Autumn has nice locking and a very fine fleece. If bred to color, she will more than likely produce color considering the color in her sire's background. Autumn will be ready to breed in the Spring of 2007. Hotlocks has been one of our best production females here at Suri Peaks. She is a problem free birther that has plenty of milk for her very healthy cria. Hot Locks has extremely dense fiber and phenominal leg coverage. With tight locking and good luster, this girl has given us some wonderful babies.
Hot Locks is a big boned female, and we are seeing this trait inherited in her offspring. She has given us 3 out of 4 deeply colored crias now - 3 were females. Her last female cria sold for $29,000 at the 2005 AOBA auction at just 6 months of age. Add this girl to your herd for a solid foundation female and see the awesome crias she can produce for you.

Hot Locks will be bred back to our true black, Full Peruvian herdsire, Coal Man after she has her baby in November. This pairing will produce a Full Peruvian cria that we believe will be deeply colored and of the highest quality.

Breeding Status:  We've gotten such stunning offspring from MacLuster (multi-champion, son of Mcgyver), we can't wait to see what his superior genetics combined with her deep maroon color will produce! Due Nov. 2004.

A tall, stretchy gal, with lots of luster and a deep mahogany-colored fleece. Her first cria, Shavano, has beautiful pencil locks. Like his mom, he is shining with luster. Dr. Julio Sumar noted Red's extreme luster when he judged her at the Oklahoma Futurity.

DOB:   10/28/05
ARI:   30359383   ARI Registration
Color:  Medium Brown/White
Breeding Status:  Service Sire: MacLuster - Due June 7, 2008

Cinnamon Swirl is a flashy pinto gal. She is the color of cinnamon accented by patches of white, topped off with a black muzzle and ears. Her fiber is truly a swirl of color. Her locks are tight and go right to the skin and have a nice twist. Cinnamon's locking is uniform throughout her fleece. Cinnamon has very nice luster and her fleece is fine like her dam's with a wonderful hand. She also has the sweet personality of her dam, Senatt, one of our favorite females in the herd.

Cinnamon has all the criteria we look for in a show quality suri - excellent conformatiopn, a perfect bite, luster with tight locking, and show presence to top it off. I look forward to showing this flashy little gal.

Cinnamon didn't let me down! She just got her first blue ribbon at the 2006 GWAS in Denver. She was the youngest in her class at this very competitve level 5 show. Cinnamon went on to win 2nd Place in a large competitve class at AOBA Nationals 2006. Cinnamon will continue to be shown until she is ready to breed in the Spring. She will be bred to MacLuster.

She throws outstanding cria of color, and is a great mom and milker! Her first three cria were all deeply colored. Linda Berry Walker purchased the first cria, Le Bang; Miss Molly Brown (below), purchased by Alpacas de Pachamama, is her second cria. And most recently, Sadye now has a champion rose-grey grand daughter on the ground out of Molly Brown.

Sire:   Black Fire of Bolivia
Dam:   Marbelita
DOB:   1/20/2003
ARI:   845544 Color:  fancy - black, brown, white
Breeding Status:  proven herdsire

This stunning young male has all the makings of a star: his fleece is made up of dark brown, bay black and white, with a cool, slick hand that shimmers as he struts. Like his mom, he is a real head-turner, and seems to know it. He exhibits style and presence and is destined to do well in the show ring. His sire is the well known Black Fire of Bolivia. Even at a few days of age, his uniform, penciled locks were apparent! Add some "chrome" to your breeding program with this flashy male..
We were amazed to see the luster under Marbel's fleece at his first shearing. His fleece regrowth has that same wonderful luster and tight uniform locks.
Marbel's first cria is due Spring 2007.

Dam:   Magnificent (3/4 Accoyo)
DOB:   5/30/03
ARI:   846094   ARI Registration
Color:  white
Breeding Status:  bred to Reserve Champion Dynamo - due Oct. 2005

This gal is a treasure - tall and stretchy, with a very upright carriage. She exhibits well formed pencil locks that go all the way to the skin. And what a head - very typey suri "wedge" shape, with a beautiful bearded chin. She is one third Accoyo and half Peruvian. Her silky fleece attests to her superior lineage.

Given her sire's grey and rose grey fleece color, and her service sire's reserve championship status, Magnolia Blossom's first cria ought to be incedible!

Another fabulous alpaca out of the Macgyver line. MacGlisten is a chip off the old block - his sire (MacLuster) has taken 2 championships, 1 reserve championship and 6 blue ribbons! MacGlisten is sure to follow in his dad's footsteps. He displayed the most well-defined lock structure I have ever seen in a cria, at only 2 weeks of age! His color is deep and rich; his coat simply "glistens" with luster.

She is 50% Accoyo, 3/4 Peruvian, and hails from the Macgyver line. Her sire is MacLuster, our multi-champion Macgyver son. MacLuster has won 2 championships (incl. AAA Futurity), 1 reserve, and 6 blue ribbons. Her mom is 2/3 accoyo, with good bone, great stretch and the mellowest disposition, and she hails from the Uribe/Durazno line.
Ginny is a good size gal, too - she tipped the scales at 90 lbs. at 7 mo. of age. Like her mom, she will probably begin breeding at a early age. To top it off, Ginny has a lovely chin beard!

DOB:   10/21/02

Breeding Status:  Service Sire: Coal Man - Due June 16, 2008

A rare find!.... a dark rose grey, bred suri female! Her markings are gorgeous, with a rose topline and grey sides and neck, plus some white facial fleece. Rosebud has a fine fleece for a grey alpaca with a micron of just 19.6!

Rosebud's firt cria, Desert Rose, had hints of grey on her top knott and a fine fleece with a micron of 17.7, beautiful luster and locking. Now, if only Rosebud could reproduce that beautiful grey color of hers. Well, this year she showed me she could when she had a beautiful dark rose grey female, SPAR's Gene's Girl. G.G. is her nick name and she has it all! Way to go Rosebud and Suri Peak's Coal Man! Rosebud is currently bred to Country Haven's Escalante for a summer 2007 cria. Then she will be rebred to Coal Man for a 2008 cria.

DOB:   May 31, 2004
ARI:   1419764   ARI Registration
Color:  Light Brown
Breeding Status:  Unproven

Patriot a.k.a. Patch is one of the sweetest young males we have ever raised here at Suri Peaks. His sire, MacLuster, passes this wonderful trait on to his offspring. Not only did Patch inherit his sire's easy going personality, but also his excellent luster and locking. His dam, Sadye of Bolivia, has given us 3 cria now with vicuna markings, Patch being one of them. Patch's fleece is extemely soft with a micron of 20.5, probably due to his vicuna background.

Patriot is now ready to breed and would be a great addition to any suri breeder's herd. Four breedings to Patriot will be retained at the current selling price.

What a blessing this little gal's arrival was. There was no question that we were destined to name her "Blessing in Black". Blessing's fleece is a rich true black. Her lusterous little locks catch your eye immediately as she struts around the pasture with a presence about her that commands attention. Blessing stands proud showing off her perfect conformation. Blessing in Black is a THIRD GENERATION true black from both her sire's side and her dam's side. With her genetic background, the probability of her producing black offspring should be high when bred to black. Blessing's sire is Aspen Ace, a jet black, FULL PERUVIAN herdsire and blue ribbon winner. Her true black dam, Black-Eyed Susan is a Champion and two-time blue ribbon winner. We look for Blessing to follow in the foot steps of her sire and dam and become a show ring winner in her own right.
Look for her this Fall when she makes her debut in the show circuit.

Blessing sells with a free breeding to our true black, full Peruvian herdsire Coal Man.

DOB:   June 7, 2003
ARI:   847278   ARI Registration
Color:  Dark silver Grey
Breeding Status:  Service Sire: Coal Man - March 16, 2009

Silver Barrie is a rare Full Peruvian dark silver grey suri. She is out of a dark silver grey sire and is the grandaughter of the well known 4Peruvian Magnifico. Silver Barrie is a tall stately gal with wonderfully soft fleece for a grey suri. She has tight locking with very nice luster. She is a very good mother and milker.
Silver Barrie is bred to Suri Peak's Coal Man for a Spring 2008 cria. Coal Man is producing awesome award winning crias. I look for Silver Barrie to produce black or grey out of this breeding. Either way, it's bound to be a show quality cria.
Silver Barrie gave birth to a dark silver grey male on March 1, 2008, Suri Peak's Iron Man. He is an exceptional Full Peruvian male that is just bursting with energy. I am so pleased with him that I have decided to re breed Silver Barrie to Coal Man for a spring 2009 cria.

DOB:   April 9, 2006
ARI:   30523470   ARI Registration
Color:  Medium Fawn

Precious is Coal Man's long awaited first cria, and she was by far worth the wait. The combination of the Macgyver bloodline with Coal Man's genetics has given excellent results. Precious is a beautiful medium fawn color, carrying all the dark genetics of her sire, yet maintaining a fleece that is very lustrous and soft. Independece of lock can be seen throughout her fleece that is very dense, just like her sire's. Conformationally, Precious has no faults, and she also has a perfect bite.
Precious One could have not been a better name for her, because she is one of the sweetest crias that has been born at Suri Peaks. I attribute this to both her dam and sire who are very even tempered alpacas.
Precious will make her debut in the show ring in the Spring of 2007.

Sir has excellent conformation with exceptionally good leg coverage down to his toes on both front and rear legs. His bite is perfect. My favorite thing about Sir is his beautiful suri head. He has a short muzzle, fleecy cheeks and a nice suri beard. Sir's dam has this same beautiful head, as well as all of her offspring. See Sir Silken's half sisters Carmel Cotton and Cotton Ginny on our website.

Buster Brown is a rich mahogany color with black highlights on his ears, muzzle and lower legs. He shines like no Buster Brown shoes I ever had as a child. No polishing needed here - this guy has natural polish galore. We Suri breeders refer to it as LUSTER, and Buster has plenty of it! Buster has excellent locking also. His locks have a nice little wave and go right to the skin. Conformationally speaking, Buster has no faults. He stands straight and tall with natural show presence. He has a perfect bite to match his excellent conformation, and with a birth weight of 21 pounds, Buster is growing into a good sized male.
I love his mellow disposition. Just like his dam and sire, he is a nice alpaca to work with.

DOB:   Jan. 7, 2007

Color:  True Black
Breeding Status:  Unproven

Coal-lette is Coal Man's third true black cria. Like her 1/2 brother, Bongo Billy, Coal-lette has beautiful lustrous fleece. She shines in the sunlight with a natural radiance about her. When you feel her fleece, you will understand the "greasy feel" Suri breeders talk about in high quality fiber. Coal-lette has that greasy touch to her fleece. She has excellent lock structure throughout her fleece as well.
Conformationally, Coal-lette is well portioned and correct in her stance. Her bite is perfect. Coal-lette already has a show presence about her even at a young age. She struts around the pasture as if she knows it, too.
Black genetics run deep in Coal-lette's background. She comes from a true black dam and sire and has a true black grandparent on each side as well. Coal-lette has what it takes to produce high quality black for a breeding program - let it be yours.

The arrival of this little gal was a "joy" to say the least. I have been waiting to see the results of breeding Suri Peak's Coal Man to Fedora, a Fine Threads Jax daughter that I purchased a few years ago specifically to breed to Coal Man. Joy is just what I was hoping for - a true black female with superior fleece qualities. She is "coal" black with high luster and beautiful locking.
She has that nice typey suri head that Coal Man stamps his crias with. Joy is the product of a 3 time champion dam, and has inherited her dam's awesome luster. Joy's conformation is excellent and her bite correct. I see all the potential for her to do well in the show ring next year.

I have no doubt that his exceptional luster brought him the first place position. Blast also has a wonderful soft handling fleece for a dark brown alpaca. He is a very sweet, willing to please young male. Like his 1/2 brother, Kaboom, he has a beautiful suri head and beard.
